HRD Monthly Science Meeting of April 2018

April’s science meeting consisted of five presentations:

  2. Hui Christophersen – Impact of Global Hawk Dropsondes on Tropical Cyclone Analyses and Forecasts
  3. Sim Aberson –  1-km HEDAS analysis of Hurricane Patricia just after peak intensity
  4. John Gamache – Observations of 2017 Atlantic Tropical Cyclones Using the New Solid-State Tail-Doppler Radar Aboard the NOAA WP-3D Aircraft
  5. Hua Leighton – The Environmental Flow, Eddy Vorticity Flux and Predictability: A Perspective from HWRF Ensemble Forecasts of Hurricane Edouard (2014)
