NOAA’s G-IV jet flies its fifth mission around Hurricane Matthew

The G-IV continues to monitor Hurricane Matthew. The jet will take off today at 1:30 PM (1730 UTC) from MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, FL. Below is the flight track for the G-IV jet. It will collect data in the environment around Matthew. The dots on the track indicate the dropsonde launch locations.
