NOAA’s hurricane hunter G-IV jet flies around Hurricane Julio

NOAA’s G-IV jet will fly it’s fourth mission out of Hawaii today. It will fly around Hurricane Julio. This will be the last flight of the series. Below is the proposed flight track. The G-IV will take off at 1730 UTC (1:30 PM Eastern or 7:30 AM Hawaii) from Honolulu, HI. The dots on the track represent the GPS dropwindsonde launch locations.
