The G-IV jet third flight will be around Hurricanes Iselle and Julio

NOAA’s G-IV jet will fly it’s third mission out of Hawaii today. This time it will gather atmospheric data around two hurricanes, Iselle and Julio. Below is the proposed flight track. The G-IV will take off at 1730 UTC (1:30 PM Eastern or 7:30 AM Hawaii) from Honolulu, HI. The dots on the track represent the GPS dropwindsonde launch locations.
